Included here for your perusal, is a picture from a happier time of the two rigs parked at Poche Plantation before we began this endless driving through Florida. By the way, the "duh" in Florida is because these idiots can't drive!
Well, as reported last night today is our long day of travel but having taken on that challenge we had no idea just HOW long we were talking. Looking at maps we estimated a tough 9 hour haul between Destin Beach and Naples, Florida but, once again, we have been thrwarted by reality! We are now 9 hours into what is clearly at least a 12-hour day. Yep, that's right. We have been trapped inside the Tourbuses for 9 hours now with 3 more to go! Yikes! The highlight of our day so far is that we crossed the Swanee River - the real and for actual "Way down upon the..." Very cool. Even had it's own historical marker with a musical clef right on it.
